Drawn To Help

Drawn To Help brings professional cartoonists and illustrators to visit children in hospitals.

Our volunteers draw with the kids and for the kids. And we give our pediatric patients free art supplies and fun books to enjoy. We do individualized bedside visits and group programs, both in the hospitals and at camps for children who are battling extremely difficult medical challenges.

It’s not all just about smiles and laughter, it’s also about healing. Multiple studies have shown that creative activities can actually reduce stress in patients and help the brain release powerful endorphins into the body that help ease pain and promote promote healing.

We also do remote programs via Zoom or through closed-circuit TV stations that broadcast our shows directly to the children’s hospital rooms. They can call in to be a part of the shows, and interact with our volunteers.
