Barbara Fitzgerald
In 2010 at the age of 52, Barbara “Babz” Fitzgerald decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of learning to paint. While she has studied acrylic, oil and watercolor, her chosen medium is acrylic. Babz vivid impressionistic and whimsical paintings mostly feature angels and animals but she also loves creating landscapes.To date, Babz portfolio is comprised of more angels than anything else. After painting her first one four years ago to honor a friend’s new granddaughter, she realized she had a calling to paint them as a form of ministry to the sick, to those who have lost a loved one, or to benefit auctions for local school or non-profits.
